Suzuki School of Violin, Viola, and Cello
Patricia Purcell, Suzuki Coordinator
In the United States, the Suzuki method is now the most widely-used approach for teaching very young music students. Dr. Suzuki felt that the promary goal of a music education program is not simply to produce future professional musicians, but to help nurture and develop outstanding young adults. He believed that the potential of every child is unlimited.
At the Youth Orchestra Suzuki School young musicians ages four and up develop their talents in weekly group and private lessons under the direction of Suzuki Co-ordinator Patricia Purcell and a staff of professionally trained and caring Suzuki teachers.
